Truck freight rates have risen this year to jump.
However, new remuneration and wage increases are not yet sufficient to allow people to get jobs where they have not been home for a week.
According to the National Transport Institute, 85 percent of the 519 carriers surveyed said that the rise in wages did not attract new drivers.
While other employees are facing inflation wages, shipping companies offer five-way bonuses and record wages to attract new passengers to the country.

“The first thing I hear is that it does not cost enough, but behind the scenes is a lot,” Cooper told Business Insider. “There are family responsibilities, it is home visits.”
